What channel is the Hungarian GP on?
It depends where you are. In the United States every session is on Apple TV — the rights moved from ESPN ahead of the 2026 season, so it is no longer on cable. In the United Kingdom it is Sky Sports F1, with free highlights on Channel 4. Canada has TSN and RDS; Australia has Fox Sports and Kayo.

What to watch for at Hungaroring
Grid position is worth an enormous amount here, so qualifying is the session that decides most of the race. Heat is the second story — August in Budapest punishes tyres and cooling alike, and drivers finish this one visibly spent. Undercuts work well, which means the pit wall usually has more influence on the result than the drivers do.
The Hungarian Grand Prix is round 11 of the 2026 championship, run on a 4.4 km lap of near-continuous corners outside Budapest, narrow and hot, with one real braking zone. The race distance is 70 laps, roughly 306.6 km.
